Founded in 1977, Specialty Cash Register was a reseller of POS systems manufactured and developed by third-party providers. When our customers needed special functionality, we were limited to offering an off-the-shelf solution with little flexibility.
In the mid 1990’s we set out to develop our own system based on our years of experience in the industry. We polled our wide customer base and asked what would it take to make the ideal POS system.
After years of research and development, we developed that solution - ArgisPOS.
More than 1000 retail and restaurant units in 27 states do business with Specialty Cash Register. We are proud to serve our customers with honesty and caring service and with a drive to deliver the best products available in the industry. Products we can be proud to put our name behind.
